I heard a great quote today by Dallin H. Oaks:
“For years it has been held that peace comes only by preparation for war; the present conflict should prove that peace comes only by preparing for peace..."
I know that this is in reference to a world conflict of war, but I feel like we are in the last days with constant conflict in our lives.
Peace will only come as I prepare for peace...
Given that Allen is out of town for three days and I have endless items on the agenda for the next couple of days, I should remember that instead of preparing for war, I should prepare for peace.
This time of year is crazy...It is this way from Spring until graduation...On the bright side, this craziness means that the end is near...(There is a double meaning in the last sentence...I noticed that as I read it again!)

Preparing and planning for peace huh? That is a thought to mull over. I used to thrive on chaos. Not anymore. Maybe it is peace would should plan instead of more craziness. Hmmm.......
